Henry Kingsnorth creates his wonderful images simply with Sharpie Pens.
He grew up painting with oil paints, doing art at school. Leaving school at 15, he went into precision engineering, eventually setting up his own business, Kingsnorth Engineering Ltd, now run by his eldest son, Jez.
However, his love of art stayed with him. Moving onto a narrowboat in 2005, oil painting was not a practical option. He therefore experimented with Sharpie pens, developing his own unique style with this unusual medium.
